MARK'S GOSPEL LEADERSHIP TRAINING

This group study course is based on Preaching Through the Bible - Mark, originally published in 1998. It has been produced by Chris Moffett, Director of Sovereign World Trust, with input from Calvin Eaton, Michael Eaton's son.

The workbooks for this course include structured questions designed for participants with varying levels of experience. These questions, along with the accompanying answers, aim to ensure that readers understand the text of the Gospel of Mark and reflect on its practical application.

The Preaching Through the Bible series has its roots in the context of church preaching, originally delivered as spoken sermons rather than written works. These books, therefore, serve as a natural extension of Michael Eaton's preaching and teaching ministry.

This leadership training material takes its value a step further. It is specifically designed to equip both current and potential leaders, offering practical insights for growth. The inclusion of open-ended questions for further thought and discussion particularly encourages deeper engagement and reflection.

People who are going to be facilitating the groups are strongly recommended to read the introductions in both the Workbook and the Leaders' Handbook.

Workbook 1 (Mark 1-9:1)
